Ivio, one of the world's leading telecommunications manufacturers, announced the launch of two new products, namely Android phones and the Tablet.

ESET Android Tips Protect from Malware

Android's growing fame skyrocketed apparently did not escape the attention of malware authors. Since September 2010, an estimated number of malware attacks to the OS is increased to 400%.

As one proof, just this month there were three Android detected malware security vendor, namely DDLight, DroidKungFu, and Android.Smspacem. All three hacked into the phone after infecting a number of applications in the Android Market.

• Always lock your device and use the password for access to your communication device.
• If you are going to enter personal data, do it only for applications supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not store confidential information in your device.
• Enable Password programs.
• Turn off the function of geo-location services.
• Enable password protection systems.
• Delete or move the private photos that did not want to distribute.
• Do not install applications from developers who are not known.
• Pay attention to the first applications that you want to download and install.
• If you click a link in an e-mail, never enter personal data into it.
• Install security applications and enable the antivirus program, such as ESET Mobile Security
• Treat your device like a desktop because the perpetrators of cyber crimes do not care about platforms you use, but it is targeting everyone for being victimized
